Livestock Information

Chicken Testing

  • Date: August 16
  • Time: 1:00–4:00 PM
  • Location: Livestock Barn
  • Cost: $1.00 per bird

Testing is mandatory for all poultry. If you are unable to attend during the scheduled testing time, you must provide a current testing certificate from a licensed tester.

Livestock Entry Dates
  • Online entries open: August 1
  • Entry deadline: August 16 at 11:59 PM
  • Late entry period: August 17–31
  • No entries will be accepted after August 31.
  • Equine entries are not eligible for late entry.
Livestock Entry Fees
  • Livestock: $10.00 per animal
  • Rabbits & Chickens: $5.00 per pen
  • Livestock Late Entry Fee: Additional $15.00 per entry
Livestock Check-In

Livestock may enter the fairgrounds during the following times only:

  • Sunday, September 6: 5:00–7:00 PM
  • Monday 7: 7:00–10:00 AM

Please Note:

  • Chickens and rabbits may enter Monday, 7th only.
  • These are the only designated livestock entry times.
  • No animal or bird may be unloaded until it has been inspected by a State Livestock Inspector. (Exception: Equine classes on Thursday.)
Important Barn Rules

Livestock may enter the fairgrounds during the following times only:

The following are not permitted inside the livestock barn:

  • Scooters
  • Hoverboards
  • Skateboards
  • Bicycles
  • Ride-on toys of any kind

All exhibitors must create a new account this year.
Other family members can be added as additional exhibitors under the main exhibitor account.
